New Studio Space!

EXCITING NEWS!!!

We have found our new home... or Studio Space. Starting in August we will be based out of Richland, Washington. It's located at 140 Gage Boulevard under the Gesa Credit Union. This space will have a full indoor studio with a comfortable projection sales room. It will be a great location to host portrait events and a convenient place to discus future portrait ideas.

We will be having an Open House and will keep you updated with when it will take place. If you can't come to the Open House please stop by anytime if you're in the neighborhood.

Wagon Trail Adventure with the Knight Family!

(click on portrait to see bigger)
What can I say the Knight family was quite the production... to get 70 People to the Knight farm by 6:30 AM on Saturday (which by the way I was so proud of everyone for getting there on time or close to.) Not to mention looking forward, both eyes open, good expressions, and looking 20 pounds lighter. ;) To say that we just took a quick snap shot and didn't plan that would be so wrong.

We had multiple consultations. First on the phone to talk about details etc., Then a mass email explaining clothing, pricing etc., Then a Go-See a couple months before to see the location, discuss time and lighting. Because the family was having their 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration that same day and because all 70 people would be here then we had to do this in the morning. A few days before the session I went out to look in the morning to see what the shaded area was doing at 6:45AM (just in time for breakfast) and see how long this shade was going to be good for 5 buggies and 70 people. Then the day before The Knight family got the Buggies out of the barns and dusted off.... looking their best! Then I went out again!! to arrange the Buggies just so and creating benches with hay bails. I also at the last second created this map.

Numbering each smaller families in the order of birth. I couldn't believe how awesome that was. So quick to get people where they needed to be approx. and just make some small changes. Not to mention we did do this portrait in three different sections. The left side, center and right side. Then piecing them together to get good quality to see every face ever so clearly. So YEAH did I mention it was a production? It was a great experience and the Knight family is wonderful to work with. Thank you Knight family for letting us create this family portrait your whole family will cherish for many years to come!!!

Out West with Olivieri Portrait Design!

This weekend we had a awesome time photographing the Knight Family. It was their 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration and everyone made it home... all of 70 of them. Most of the time people have a hard time getting everyone home for a portrait but this family is pretty tight and for the most part everyone lives close to home. It was great to see members of the family I had not seen since High School. But it was like old times back at the Knight family farm, always good food, good company and lots of laughs.

We photographed them with some of their collection of buggies and this wagon. It ROCKED! I will post the final portrait is done. Can't wait to share it with you.

But Jason and I had to second to have our turn, I almost broke my leg getting up... sorry to everyone else that tried to get up. Good thing you all had ladders. And fyi those are not our kids of you were wondering. Just a couple of the little Knights!

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary Ray and Vanae! And thank you for letting us be apart of it!

Welcome Autumn

One of my favorite weddings I have done was Autumn's parents. They are the nicest people. If you know them you know what I'm talking about. Sam and Athena welcomed to the world Autumn Sue Clark on May 3rd. Athena went into labor just hours before her baby shower, what a great gift! So her Grandma got to open all the fun gifts... how fun for Grandma huh? She was probably loving every moment. So excited for Sam and Athena she is a diva already but she is going to be fun! Congrats Sam, Athena and Family! Can't wait to watch her grow up!

Bruce and Karen

Bruce and Karen are getting married tomorrow! So exciting that it's finally happening. After years of planning we are finally here! Congrats Bruce and Karen!
Other Karen and Bruce Portraits to come! ;)
