Another Woman's Treasure

Ok. So if you didn't think I was crazy before... this might be a step closer for you to consider me crazy! Ok. Last Summer I found this couch... NO it found me. Long story behind it but I got it for Free and I love it! Someone junk is another Man's Treasure Right?...

A couple of weeks ago I was coming back from Go-See in Walla Walla... and I get this phone Call from friend Nick Johnson. "Annette, I was driving down the road and saw a this photo op of a piano on the side of the road, it needs to be on a WALL and the title should be...The Day the Music Died." And said, "You have called the right person." I drove out there later the night not sure what I would find. But to my surprise the piano was in pretty good shape.... for a sad piano. Actually it's Vintage. ;) I have seen some really cool things made out of pianos and now I have the chance to make something out of something I love. Yeah it's going in the studio... can't wait!

5 miles past the middle of no where look at the treasure Nick found for me. What a great friend right?... Actually what is better is that he loaded it up in his truck in like 5 sec... btw it weights a ton. I'm thinking this was on a Wagon Train and it was to heavy so they dumped. jk

Had to call for back up so Nick's Dad, Gavin came to the rescue.

Ready to Roll! Told you he ROCKS!

The Nick and Gavin being the crafty farmers they are lifted it out of the truck with a Cain Hoist. LOL Gavin in this picture is telling me how crazy I am for finding New Life in someone else Junk. Ok those weren't his exact words but you get the point... he was giving me a BAD time about it.

I really think it was a cast off from the Sager Party or maybe the Whitman's--I expect to see someone sitting on top of it!!!!
